What is the role of the industrial engineer as human process (re)designer? How do industrial engineers optimize individual, group and organizational performance? And how does the industrial engineer diagnose, design, and develop the complex human ecosystem at work? Throughout this course, students will be systematically confronted with these and other contemporary global organizational challenges in attempts to solve complex business-related problems. Students will be encouraged to apply work and organizational psychological theories in an attempt to understand, diagnose, design and develop human systems at work. The course consists of lectures, self-study, individual and group assignments and includes doing advanced statistical analysis.
