This course aims on deepening the students knowledge on different topics of kinetics and electrochemistry. The kinetics parts discusses the construction of chemokinetic networks from a reaction mechanism. Based on statistical thermodynamics, rate expressions are derived from fundamental principles. In the electrochemistry part, topics such as electrode potentials, electrode kinetics, mass transfer and electrochemical double layer will be explored.
