After this course the student is able to:
- Explain and identify what quantum information is
- Describe and apply the key concepts of quantum: entanglement, superposition
- Explain the differences between classical versus quantum and its consequences for applications
- Reproduce and demonstrate the basics of the main quantum technology fields: quantumcomputing, -security, -communication and -sensing
- Analyze quantum technology from various perspective (Science, industry, technology and society)
- Discuss the needs & open questions of this research-driven new technological field and its future
- Assess whether they would like to contribute to this industry and pursue dedicated quantum courses
