Doelstellingen

After this course the student is able to:
  • Explain and identify what quantum information is
  • Describe and apply the key concepts of quantum: entanglement, superposition
  • Explain the differences between classical versus quantum and its consequences for applications
  • Reproduce and demonstrate the basics of the main quantum technology fields: quantumcomputing, -security, -communication and -sensing
  • Analyze quantum technology from various perspective (Science, industry, technology and society)
  • Discuss the needs & open questions of this research-driven new technological field and its future
  • Assess whether they would like to contribute to this industry and pursue dedicated quantum courses
