This course combines design and engineering with Internet of Things technologies and group-based entrepreneurship, starting from ideas, concepts and user interviews all the way to a minimum viable product (MVP), marketing and a solid business plan. The IoT USE learning line is unique in that it allows students to experience the thrills and challenges of setting off to develop a novel technological solution with a strong emphasis on entrepreneurship. Why? Innovation which is solely built on “technology push” is doomed to fail commercially. In this ULL students will be constantly challenged to answer questions like “who will use my solution?”, “who will purchase it?”, and “who are my competitors?” Students will work in teams supported by external coaches who are real-life investors and business angles. Students will be automatically registered to the following courses and are expected to complete the ULL in a single academic year!
