The Electric Circuits Analysis for Energy Conversion introduces basic methods and concepts for the analysis of various phenomena in Electric Circuits that will be instrumental in treating electric energy conversion systems in the rest of the curriculum. The course has a significant CBL component, where the students themselves can become familiar with the critical challenges facing energy conversion systems as we progress in the energy transition, such as efficiency and sustainability. These challenges are connected to the solutions that are deployed today by the automotive industry for the electrification of the transportation sector – and we will showcase the tools and concepts that are needed to analyze and understand such systems.
