Creativity and Aesthetics have always been essential competences for design. Data and Artificial Intelligence are the new creative materials for design, and future design tools will include intelligence. In this course you will critically and conceptually explore and design propositions for the future of Creativity and Aesthetics in the age of Data and AI. We will work with machine-learning models (deep learning), and investigate the aesthetic modalities of learning systems and work with new forms of expressive designs with embedded intelligence.
