Control challenges in autonomous racing



Challenge-based course with team work on autonomous driving. Students work in teams of maximally 5 and define their own challenge that includes sensing, navigation, control and safety problems. They will develop, implement and test their results on a 1:10th scale race car with extensive sensing and control capabilities. Safety critical scenarios present in semi-autonomous racing such as high speed maneuvers, obstacle avoidance, and race pilot assistance, are key drivers for possible challenges.
