This course aims to explore the fundamentals of cell biological techniques and their applications in studying biomaterial interaction. We delve into the principles and practices of the most common cell biological methods, including cell culture, cellular engineering, immunofluorescent microscopy, western blotting, and qPCR. This course focuses mainly on learning how to practically perform these techniques, how to critically interpret its results and how to design your own experiments using these techniques. While the course demands a significant workload, the practical experiences and theoretical knowledge gained during this course is highly appreciated by students who proceed their master programme in the field of cell biology
