While the clinical chemistry lectures give an overview of principles and the role of laboratory medicine, this course goes in depth on selected subjects. Expert speakers from clinical laboratories present novel analysis techniques and their relevance in the diagnosis and monitoring of a disease. Technical aspects ofl aboratory techniques as well as pathophysiology will be illustrated by using patient cases.
