Beschrijving

More and more festivals are developing activities alongside the core business of "music and food", for example TEDtalks, Lowland University, theatre, and the presence of NGOs (Summerlabb, Greenpeace, Amnesty). Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) has a wealth of experience in actively involving a young audience in side-events like workshops, talks, discussions and projects. TU/e has been present at many festivals (Extrema, Glow, Pukkelpop) with big projects like the building of multi-story objects, stages and large "light installations". Projects that require the active participation of the audience, showcasing popular science and working with co-creation tools.
