Beschrijving

The Vehicle Engineering group of Aalto University will organize a doctoral student course on “Vehicle dynamics testing in winter conditions”. The course will be held in Saariselkä, The trans-portation from Helsinki to Saariselkä is arranged for all students. The aim of the course is to introduce to the students how things are different wintertime. Also, it is opportunity to network with other students on the same field. The research topic of the PhD student could be e.g. vehicle dynamics, active safety systems, tyre-road interaction or driver-vehicle interaction. The students will perform measurements on ice and snow track with an in-strumented test car. The students will also analyze the data and report the results.
