Beschrijving

Engineers Ireland's accreditation is an objective evaluation and approval of engineering programmes to international standards. Earlier this year, Engineers Ireland adopted new Accreditation Criteria including a revised programme outcome on 'Professional and Ethical Responsibilities: Understanding of and commitment to professional and ethical responsibilities towards people and the environment in the practice of engineering'.

This webinar will explore how ethics is treated in the accreditation of engineering education with perspectives from Engineers Ireland's approach, doctoral research and recently accredited programmes. The event will be relevant to accreditation assessors, programme coordinators, staff teaching on accredited programmes and those with an interest in engineering and ethics.
