The goal of this paper is to give more insight in which Auto-Reclosing (AR) methods, including smart AR methods, can be used in different parts of the Dutch High Voltage (HV) (110-380kV) grid regulated by TenneT TSO. Next to that the most appropriate AR method will be recommended for each of certain pre-defined regions. This recommendation will be based on a transient stability analysis and a risk analysis of the abandonment of AR.
