In this paper we discuss the deployment of an interactive design fiction intervention in the context of sustainable behaviour change in an office environment. We present the findings of two studies, a one-month deployment of an intervention at an office with 248 participants and a two-week deployment with a second iteration of the intervention with three groups of 3-4 participants in a university context. Based on these findings, we share insights on designing design fiction interventions for behaviour change by including the narrative and knowledge as a reward for behaviour change and creating a balancing between the individual and the community.
