Abstract
Zone electrophoresis can be carried out in the app. designed for isotachophoresis; the zones moving in capillary tube equipment are detected by thermocouples. The peak area of a zone is influenced by the presence of an adjacent zone, for example the peak area/nanomole of citric acid decreases in the presence of a nearby zone of glutamic acid.
