Abstract
The process comprises feeding a gas and liq. to a gas-diffusion cell consisting of 2 chambers sepd. by a gas-diffusion electrode or membrane having a hydrophobic and a hydrophilic side, and feeding the gas to the chamber on the hydrophobic side of the membrane and the liq. to the chamber on the hydrophilic side of the membrane. The gas-diffusion electrode consist of a Pt-contg. activated C membrane. These gas-diffusion cells are used for removing NH3 and Cl from air
