Abstract
Persons with low visual acuity can read with a TV magnifier, according to a suNey of 280 users of the aid in the Netherlands. SuNey respondents found the TV magnifier indispensible tor such tasks as reading, writing, and looking at photographs. The suNey a lso idenmied structural and instructional problems, and the authors offer sugges· tions lor improving the aid, which wil/lead to lts wider use.
