Abstract
We present an ultracompact (2μm x 2μm) inverse designed 1x2 multimode interference coupler with lateral output ports based on the Indium Phosphide Membrane on Silicon platform and we analyze its principal performance parameters in the S and C bands for the fabricated devices.
