Abstract
An ultra-fast all-optical demultiplexer based on sum-frequency generation in a Periodically-
Poled Lithium Niobate waveguide is demonstrated. Error free performance is achieved with respective penalties of 1.5dB and 2dB for 160-to-10Gbit/s and 320-to-10 Gbit/s demultiplexing operations.
