Abstract
We present the results of an in house demonstration of TTOSS (Totally Transparent Optical Subscriber System) showing that the system can be well operated with present day direct detection systems. In addition, we will show that TTOSS can be gradually tailored to coherent system use without modifications in the permanently installed part of the system.
