Abstract

Because of the low crosstalk of the CrossPoint switch, multiple recirculations are possible. This facilitates simplified time-slot interchange configurations that depend on less fiber-delay lines, and single time-slot granularity to enable a short total-delay time. Error-free time-slot interchange is demonstrated with a 10-Gb/s payload.
