Abstract

Thermosetting resin obtained by condensing a triazine compound, an aldehyde and an activated olefinic compound, this condensation taking place in the presence of a catalyst that is capable of effecting alkylolation of a double bond and as triazine compound use preferably being made of melamine, melamine-formaldehyde resin, hydroxyalkyl melamines or a mixture of these compounds.
