Abstract

Adapting the adapter: The identification, synthesis and cellular activity of the first 14-3-3 protein–protein interaction inhibitor have recently been reported. This success opens up new possibilities for small-molecule modulation of the biology of these important adapter proteins with the potential for new therapeutic approaches.
