In this report the finalization of the design and the assembly of an catheter to improve the detection of bladder cancer is described. The catheter works with Optical Coherence Tomography, which allows it to provide real-time, high resolution, cross sectional 2D images of the tissue behind the bladder wall. By providing these images the catheter allows a more accurate real time diagnosis of bladder cancer. Next to the assembly of the catheter, a business development plan is described which is focused on the necessary actions that have to be taken to put this catheter in the market.
