Abstract
TbIn3 orders antiferromagnetically at 32 K through a second-order transition. At 25 K another transition occurs, connected most likely with a change of the magnetic structure. Well below the Néel point a magnetic field applied in the 001 direction induces a sequence of four metamagnetic transitions. By means of magnetization, heat capacity and magnetoresistance measurements, the magnetic phase diagram of TbIn3 in the magnetic field parallel to the 001 axis is proposed.
