Abstract
A particular problem of controlled synchronization of nonlinear systems is considered. Sufficient conditions which provide such synchronization are presented and it is shown that these conditions provide also feedback passivity of the overall system. It is also demonstrated that conditions of the feedback passifiability allow one to design an adaptive synchronizing control law which ensures global synchronization in the cases when the systems to synchronize have different parameters.
