Abstract

An optimized SEC system was successfully applied for the investigation of tpy2Ru(II) and tpy2Ni(II) contg. polymers, but was unfortunately not suitable for the investigation of other systems, such as tpy2Fe(II) and tpy2Co(II). These optimizations led to high conversion within reduced reaction times (essential for successful polycondensations). In the present study, we apply these optimized conditions for the first time for the formation of an A-b-B-b-A supramol. triblock copolymer based on the tpy2Ni(II), tpy2Fe(II) and tpy2Co(II) connectivity in one self-assembly step, discuss their properties, and study the micellization of these new materials.
