Abstract
Two older systems of nomenclature are no longer useful to describe the vitreous systems contg. B2O3, P2O5, and others. A new nomenclature is proposed, based on conventions derived from descriptions of the structural units and groups that occur in great variety in vitreous systems. 16 references. [on SciFinder (R)]
