Abstract
The structure of the knowledge base is based on ontologies of the knowledge domain, combining methods and algorithms for processing hydroacoustic signals and video images. To create a complex of ontologies an integrated webenvironment is used that combines the methods and tools of the editors WebProtégé (the environment for collaborative development of ontologies) and OntoMASTER (graphic ontology editor). In the description of ontologies, the OWL-DL language is used. The ontology of the field of knowledge hydroacoustics contains a formal description of the concepts of the subject domain of hydroacoustics, their definitions, examples of the use in the texts corpora of publications, lexical and semantic relations. The method of creating ontologies is based on the automated construction of thesauri and the dynamic processing of information resources with the involvement of experts. A special feature of the method is the presentation of specialized thesauri in two languages (English and Russian).
