Abstract
A circuit configuration of a lower power stand-alone photovoltaic (PV) system to supply homes located in isolated area is proposed in this paper. The system consists of a three converter combination to process the energy generated by the PV panels. The system must have two days of autonomy and provide alternating voltage with the same characteristics of the local power grid. Theoretical analysis of each stage and experimental results of the complete system is presented for a 500W prototype.
