Abstract
Experimental results of stimulated emission in organic devices under electric pumping are still under debate [Sandanayaka et al, Appl. Phys. Express 12, 2019, 061010]. We present simulations of spectral dynamics of light emission unveiling sharp peak emission of organic laser diodes well below laser threshold, indicating that narrow-peak emission is not necessarily a signature of lasing.
