Abstract

The present invention is directed to a process
for preparing a prepolymer comprising imide groups by
reacting an anhydride of a polycarboxylic acid with at
least two carboxylic groups (DA) and an isocyanate (11)
in the presence of catalyst composition containing at
least component (C1) and optionally one or more of components
(C2) and (C3). The present invention is also directed
to the prepolymer obtained as well as the use of
said prepolymer for the preparation of polyurethanes.
