Abstract

In this paper we present new design of an alloptical wavelength converter (AOWC) based on siliconon-insulator platform. For that purpose we combine nonlinearities of semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOA) with high finesse Mach-Zehnder filters, available in SOItechnology.
