Abstract
The invention relates to a method for producing polyurethane foams, in which method (a) polyisocyanate, (b) polymeric compounds having groups reactive with isocyanates, (c) stabilizer containing no silicone, (d) optionally chain-extending and/or crosslinking agents, (e) catalysts, (f) blowing agents and (g) optionally auxiliary agents are mixed to form a reaction mixture and the reaction mixture is allowed to fully react to form polyurethane, the stabilizer (c) containing no silicone being obtainable by alkoxylating a monofunctional to octafunctional starter molecule with alkylene oxides, 0 to 9 wt% of the alkylene oxides used being ethylene oxide, 0 to 50 wt% of the alkylene oxides used being l,2-propylene oxide and at least 50 wt% of the alkylene oxides used comprising at least four carbon atoms, and the number-average molecular weight of the stabilizer (c) containing no silicone being 500 to 20,000 g/mol, and the concentration of silicone-based foam stabilizer being less than 0.3 wt% in reference to the total weight of the compounds (b), (c), (d), (e) and (f). The invention further relates to: a polyol component containing the silicone-free stabilizer (c); to a polyurethane foam which can be obtained by a method according to the invention; and to the use of the polyurethane foam according to the invention in closed spaces or within vehicles.
