Abstract

In this presentation we will discuss building blocks (e.g. Phased-Oversampled Vector Modulator, MPA, VGA) and a fully integrated transmit line-up including LO generation (e.g. VCO, sliding-IF LO generation) for phased array transmitters targeting VSAT/satellite and point-to-point wireless backhaul communication in the 30GHz Ka-band. The IP has been developed in a 0.25um SiGe:C BiCMOS technology. First measurements including patched antennas will also be presented.
