Abstract

On April 24 and Second European Workshop on Conformal Antennas 25, 2001, the Second European Workshop on Conformal Antennas took place in The Hague, The Netherlands, hosted by and on the premises of the TNO Physics and Electronics Laboratory. TNO (Nederlandse organisatie voor Toegepast Natuunveternschappelijk Onderzoek) is the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research. The Chair of the workshop was Hubregt J. Visser from TNO, and the co-Chair was Prof. Dr. Chr. von Winterfeld from FGAN-FHR, Germany. FGAN (Forschungsgesellschaft fur Angewandte Natunvissenschaften) is the German Research Establishment for Applied Science. FHR (Forschungsinstitut fur Hochfrequenzphysik und Radartechnik) is the Research Institute for High-Frequency Physics and Radar Techniques. The Second European Workshop on Conformal Antennas has grown from the initial one-day workshop (October 1999, Karlsruhe, Germany) to a full two-day workshop, with more than 30 internationally acknowledged experts giving (invited) presentations on several subjects concerning conformal antennas.
