Abstract
Consumer electronic products become increasingly more open and flexible, which is achieved by scalable and reusable software components. Important features in many of those products are provided via video components. Since these components have fluctuating resource usage, run-time resource-prediction strategies are required to enable cost-effective resource allocations. In this paper, we propose a novel method to identify resource-usage modes for video components.
