The methodology was developed to determine the state of art of the major factors that are considered to have an impact on the contribution of an industry to sustainable development in general. The methodology was applied in the low income housing construction industry in developing countries. Recommendations could be given - with the results of the application - to support resource management for the enhancement of the sustainability of manufacturing and application of Construction Systems in the lower income dwelling construction industry.
