Abstract
The sun is acknowledged as the mother of all light sources; It enables life on earth as we know it. But what is it that makes natural light unique, and most technologically advanced light sources pale in comparison?
This Chapter compares the similarity and differences of the properties of natural light and artificial light. It discusses the biological context of daylight vs. electrical light and discusses the cons of electrical light vs. daylight.
