Post-processing of fluxes for finite volume methods for elliptic problems

Abstract

We develop post-processing techniques for fluxes obtained from finite volume methods, which enables us to reconstruct flow densities in an H-div space. These post-processing techniques ensure that mass is conserved locally, which is very important, e.g., in geophysical applications.
