Abstract

This Essay inaugurates a Special Article Series called Polyolefins Catalyst and Process Innovations. Examples illustrating recent progress in both the fundamental understanding and application of Ziegler-Natta and single-centre catalysts in polyolefin production are given, notably in relation to the effect of catalyst and process modification on polymer structure and properties.
