Abstract

The role of polymer electronics in integrated circuits and active matrix liquid crystal displays (AM-LCD) was discussed. Polymer transistors, all-polymer integrated circuits and AM-LCD were also discussed. It was shown that the combination of the proven feasibility of an AM-LCD with an organic semiconductor with an all-polymer technology used for integrated circuits creates new options for electronic papers.
