Plasmonic crystals for solid-state lighting

Abstract

Herein we demonstrate a very large emission increase (up to 60-fold for unpolarized emission in defined directions) using emitters developed for solidstate lighting (SSL) applications with an intrinsic quantum efficiency (QE) close to one.
