Abstract

An efficient code for the analysis of beam waveguides and multireflector antennas by PO (physical optics) integration is presented. In the ELAB PO-code, there is no restriction on the number of reflectors, each reflector can be numerically specified to any shape, and the reflectors may be plane or parts of ellipsoids, with elliptical contours. The code has been applied to analyze a beam waveguide with six reflectors. The computer time was 177 s on a CRAY supercomputer. A comparison is made with Gaussian multimode analysis
