Photonic integrated WDM cross-connects for telecom and datacom networks

Abstract

We present a modular photonic integrated WDM cross-connect switches to realize disaggregated metro nodes and high performance intra datacenter networks. The WDM switches exploit SOAs for loss-less and nanoseconds wavelength, space, and time switching operation.
