Abstract

We numerically assess a novel low-latency HPC network based on fast optical switches (HiFOS) under multiple HPC application traffics. Compared with electrical Leaf-Spine HPC network, results show that HiFOS reduces up to 70.4% latency, 23.6% cost and 17.9% power consumption.
