The concept of organizational learning is a reaction to a development which stresses the importance of knowledge and the production of new knowledge in organizations. New knowledge, however, is mostly increased in an environment of groups possessing freedom of action and self-management. Hierarchical interventions do not succeed in these organizational systems. A consequence might be a form of political unrest within the everyday life of organizations. Decision making is no longer the privilege of a classical hierarch but centers around the most powerful actor. This article discusses the concept of organizing a response to the problem of political influence.
