Different methods for the preparation of nickel—loaded AlPO4—5 molecular sieve will be evaluated. The application of wet—chemical methods using cationic, anionic and neutral nickel species yields AlPO4—5 loaded with large nickel particles at the external surface of the crystallites. In contrast, chemical vapour deposition of nickelocene results in loading of the AlPO4—5 at the external as well as the internal surface with uniformly distributed small nickel particles.
