Abstract
An overview is presented of a selection of important logistics challenges in adopting an omni-channel strategy. Omni-channel logistics involves all necessary activities associated with the functioning of the supply chain considering this omni-channel retail strategy. Creating a seamless customer experience regardless of the chosen channel necessitates coordination between the key logistics processes such as network design, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation. In this chapter, we review these decisions and give insights into the challenges for omni-channel logistics.
