Abstract
In long-haul differential-phase-shift-keYing (DPSK) transmission, nonlinear phase noise can limit system performance. We show with both simulations and experiments that optical phase conjugation (OPC), sometimes referred to as spectral inversion, can significantly reduce these impairments.
